(PLANO, Texas) July 28, 2005 - The Board of Directors of Plano-based Share Plus Federal Bank announced today the naming of Jeffrey L. Weaver as President and Chief Executive Officer. He will be responsible for overseeing strategy and operations of the $200 million mutual savings bank.
“We are excited to have Jeff join Share Plus Federal Bank at this critical stage in our evolution to a full service bank,” said Paul Zmigrosky, Chairman of the Board. “Our recent conversion to a federally-chartered savings bank provides the perfect base for Jeff and his team to expand the range of products offered to our customers and explore new ways for us to grow the bank.”
Mr. Weaver brings over 25 years of diverse banking experience, most recently as Executive Vice President with Guaranty Bank in Dallas where he was responsible for Guaranty’s 96 branch, $6 billion Texas network. In addition, Weaver held previous management positions at Bank of America, American Federal Bank and First Gibraltar Bank.
Weaver, age 49, joined Share Plus Federal Bank on July 1, 2005 and will be a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX and and MBA from Baylor University. He and his wife, Sally, and their three children reside in Plano.
