On Feb. 26, 2008, The Greater Austin Association welcomed Eric Selbin, professor of political science and University Scholar, as its 2008 Road Scholar. Selbin presented on the topic, "Latin America's Shifting Political Winds: Will We Catch a Cold?" Approximately, thirty-five alumni and friends attended the event.
