Dear Greater Georgetown Alumni:

We are excited to announce the formation of The Greater Georgetown Association of Southwestern University Alumni!

Did you know that there are almost 1300 alumni in the Greater Georgetown area? The purpose of this association is to provide educational, social and networking events in the Greater Georgetown area to facilitate your lifelong Southwestern Experience.

Who are we?

One of us works in finance and one in corporate training. One is a grandmother and loves dogs. One is a licensed attorney and two are in university relations. One is professor emeritus of environmental science and engineering and one is a graphic designer. One is a special events coordinator in his/her spare time and another loves theatre. We are your current officers of The Greater Georgetown Association and we all love Southwestern!

Who are you?

What are your interests? In what part of the Greater Georgetown area do you live and work? We would like to find out! We have developed a survey to help us get to know you better and tailor alumni events accordingly. Please visit The Greater Georgetown Association Survey so that we know how to best serve you.

We plan to organize events such as: a wine tasting, Round Rock Express games, happy hours, shows at the Palace Theatre, Walburg nights, a night at the Alamo Drafthouse and many others pending your feedback.

If you have not yet registered for the Online Alumni Directory, please contact the Office of Alumni Relations at alumni@southwestern.edu. It's a great way to find out who's living in the Greater Georgetown area.
