SING! and Homecoming Parade Theme Announced!

The 2008 Student Homecoming Chair (Julia Poplawsky) and the SING! Coordinators (Alex Caple and Samanda Rivera) are happy to announce the SING! and Homecoming Parade theme for this year: "One Hit Wonders." This theme was chosen to compliment the overall Homecoming and Reunion Weekend theme, which is "Southwestern's Greatest Hits." Here is what we envision: All SING! and Homecoming Parade participants must design and wear costumes that are consistent with "one hit wonders" from the past. Approaching this theme through music is appreciated, but we encourage thinking outside the box (i.e., athletics, films/television, books/literature, politics, news, art, fashion, toys and cars). Stay tuned for more information this fall.
