William W. Meadows, Fort Worth, was elected Nov. 20 as vice chairman of the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) board of directors. He is a former Fort Worth Mayor Pro Tem and city councilman, active in numerous public service activities – including the Texas Water Development Board, the board of directors for Streams and Valleys, Inc. and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce. He is a trustee of the Hatton W. Sumners Foundation, chairs the Endowment Fund of the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge and is a director for the Southwestern Exposition and Stock Show.

W. Rex Voland, Pflugerville, is a professional entertainer extraordinaire, working for Three Ring Service, Austin’s premier entertainment company. He also serves as the director of ”Qualima”, the vocal ensemble of the Austin Eckankar Center.
Compelled to visit one last campus during her senior year of high school, Karen Hanson-Flowers ’75 and her father took off to
Georgetown from her hometown of Midland, TX. Like many prospective students who visit Southwestern, she was immediately attracted to the comfortable admissions environment, engaging classroom discussions, and natural charm of the campus.
Will Reed has been given the ability to pursue a dream through the successful, non-profit organization, Technology For All (www.techforall.org). The organization's mission is "to bring technology and the opportunities it provides to low-income and underserved persons across the nation," says Reed.
