Charlie Stern, Washington D.C., works as a Program Examiner for the White House Office of Management and Budget. This spring he ran the Boston Marathon to raise money for the Jett Foundation, a Pembroke, Mass.-based organization dedicated to raising funding and awareness for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). “Qualifying for Boston was always a personal goal, but the race was especially meaningful because it was about more than just me,” said Stern. Kris Radusch, Henderson, Nev., works in Las Vegas in food and beverage management at the Bellagio, a AAA five diamond resort, after earning a master of science in hotel and restaurant management from Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston.
Ryan LaMountain ’04 is a seventh-generation Texan. Since graduating in English literature, he has worked in communications and the book trade in New York City and Dallas.
Adam Winkler has been surrounded by the field of communications for a majority of his young life. His parents started a public relations business, Winkler Public Relations, and they both have served as professional and lifelong role models for Winkler. "My dad spent the majority of his professional life dealing with the media or providing training to those who do," states Winkler. "Additionally, my parents have taught me invaluable lessons about life. Anything I have accomplished thus far, I attribute to the foundation laid by my family."
