SPECIAL NOTICES
Help Decorate for Homecoming!
In spirit of the Homecoming and Reunion Weekend theme "The Story of Southwestern," the University is collecting books to be used as decorations for the Homecoming Picnic, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4. After Homecoming, all books collected will be given to an area non-profit organization. Donate your books (for all ages) today! Currently, the Office of Alumni Relations (Second Floor, Roy and Lillie Cullen Building) serves as the book collection headquarters. Are you traveling from out of town? Then, bring your books with you for Homecoming and Reunion Weekend. A book collection box will be placed at the Alumni Hospitality House (San Gabriel House) Friday, Nov. 3, 2006. Please call the Office of Alumni Relations at 1-800-960-6363 with any questions.
The Story of Southwestern: A Collection of Alumni Stories
The story of Southwestern does not simply lie in the official history, the buildings or even the yearbooks. For that reason, the Association of Southwestern University Alumni collected alumni stories and printed this first edition. For only $5, this timeless classic could be yours. Order one today! Inspired to submit your story? E-mail alumni@southwestern.edu. The ASUA will continue to collect stories as a record of alumni happenings.
Local Accommodations Update
Attention Alumni! Planning on coming to Homecoming and Reunion Weekend? Still need a place to stay? Please make your hotel reservations ASAP! Many hotels in Georgetown are already booked.
