What Others are Saying About Southwestern
U.S. News & World Report announced its annual college rankings last week, and once again Southwestern was the top-rated national liberal arts college in Texas. Southwestern moved up from 61 to 57, tied with Kalamazoo College, St. Lawrence University and Wofford College. The Princeton Review’s 2007 edition of
The Best 361 Colleges will be published tomorrow, and Southwestern is among the colleges featured in this book. However, most reflective of who we are is the ongoing recognition we receive from
Colleges That Change Lives. Southwestern is one of 40 colleges featured in their 2006-2007 edition.
Share Your Chapter of "The Story of Southwestern”
Do you have a story about your time at Southwestern that still makes you laugh or cry? Are you afraid that a beloved faculty or staff member might be forgotten by future generations? Do you know the origins of a Southwestern tradition? The story of Southwestern does not simply lie in the official history, the buildings or even the yearbooks. There are thousands of stories stored within the memories of alumni. Help us capture them for future generations to enjoy. This year's theme for
Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, Nov. 3-5, is "The Story of Southwestern" In the spirit of the festivities, please share your favorite Southwestern story! Stories will be released in various ways surrounding Homecoming and Reunion Weekend. All accepted submissions will be printed in a booklet to be offered during Homecoming.
