John '71 and Paris Permenter Bigley '80 are a husband-wife team of travel writers specializing in both romantic destinations and business travel, primarily for the meetings and incentive market. They've been in the business for 15 years and produce copy for all types of publications about destinations around the globe.

Their Work

Their travel articles and photographs have appeared in many national consumer and trade publications; throughout the years over 900 of their articles have been published as well as over 20 of their guidebooks. When they're not on the road, they call the Texas Hill Country near Austin home. Their latest book is Cayman Islands Alive!

They are also frequent television and radio talk show guests and if you live in Texas you may have heard or seen them on local programs. San Antonio residents and visitors may also be familiar with their monthly travel column in FIESTA, the magazine of the San Antonio Express-News.

They are members of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA).
