What is Volunteer Leadership Weekend?
It is a weekend to bring alumni, faculty, parent and staff volunteers to campus to receive training for areas they have expressed interest. It is a weekend of camaraderie and provides the opportunity for volunteers to meet one another and share ideas. Click here to view the weekend schedule.
Who is invited to Volunteer Leadership Weekend?
Volunteers who work collaboratively with the Offices of Admission, Alumni and Parent Relations, Annual Giving and Development are invited to attend. They include:
- Alumni Assembly Delegates.
- Alumni Council Members.
- Alumni Self-Study Commission Members.

Volunteer Leadership Weekend is packed with many activities and we do not want you to miss them. Be sure to secure a hotel room for yourself. To assist you, please review this list of options (click here).

DIRECTIONS TO CAMPUS
From Interstate 35 take Exit #261 (Texas Highway 29). Follow Highway 29 east (University Avenue) into Georgetown, approximately 1.3 miles. Turn left at Maple, the first street beyond the train tracks. Visitor parking is available along the west side of the Roy and Lillie Cullen Building (formerly known as the Ad Building) and in the parking lot on the north side of the building.
