Dear Tri-State Area Alumni:

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce Southwestern University’s newest alumni group: The Big Apple Association of Southwestern University Alumni. Sitting at the helm of this venture is President Joanne Chiang ’01, Programming Chair Amie Bond ’01 and Finance Chair Jackie Ontiveros ’00, and we are pleased to introduce ourselves.

Over the past several months, we’ve organized several alumni events in the New York City area from happy hours to a day of service, and we’re looking forward to many more fantastic events in the upcoming months. Southwestern has a large and diverse group of alumni in the tri-state area, and we’re looking forward to meeting each of you.

To begin, we will be using New York City as the hub for our alumni events, but we’re an adventurous group and willing to travel, so if you have ideas for an event somewhere off the island of Manhattan, let us know.
