The Candlelight Service for the Season of Advent was held at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, Thursday 14, 2006. Following the service, ASUA President Joe Seeber '63 and Local Associations Chair George Cruz '95 installed the Dallas Association officers. William B. Jones, professor emeritus of history and University Historian, was present to sign copies of To Survive and Excel: The Story of Southwestern, 1840-2000. Over 60 alumni and friends came out for the event.
