On Feb. 8, 2007, the Houston Association sponsored a Road Scholars Presentation, "Berlin Stories," featuring Erika Berroth, associate professor of German in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. This seminar invite alumni to experience the varying textures of a city and to form your own view of what it means today to say, as John F. Kennedy did in 1963, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Thirty alumni and friends attended this special presentation, held at The Briar Club.
