Southwestern University alumni are invited to set up an alumni e-mail forwarding account.
WHAT IS A FORWARDING ACCOUNT?
It's a service that forwards your e-mail to a preferred e-mail address. You get to choose your permanent e-mail address that never changes. (If you are a recent graduate, please note that the contents in your student Southwestern e-mail account will NOT transfer over.)
WHY DO I NEED THIS?
It saves time and a lot of frustration, especially if you are on the move! Rather than trying to remember to tell everyone (i.e., family, friends, banks, doctors, magazine subscriptions, etc.) that your e-mail address has changed, all you need to do is tell the Office of Alumni Relations.
HOW DO I GET ONE?
The Office of Alumni Relations can set up an e-mail forwarding account for you when you request it. All we need is your:
§ Name.
§ Class year.
§ Preferred username (e.g., John_Smith@alumni.southwestern.edu).
§ Permanent e-mail address (e.g., a Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, etc.).
